Angel Di Maria was one of the big protagonists in the transfer market after Barcelona's interest in him. Negotiations between the two sides broke down on deadline day with Barcelona not offering enough to convince PSG to let him go.
Their final bid, per L'Equipe, was 45 million euros plus 5m in variables, but PSG were asking for 60. These 10m euros separated the former Madrid player Di Maria from Camp Nou.
