Paulinho: Barcelona is more than a club, it's a culture
The Brazilian highlighted what it means to play for Barcelona
He says a dream came true the day he signed for the club
Paulinho feels happy at Barcelona. He has started the season well and shown he can make the difference in big games, and Ernesto Valverde is very conscious of that.
His adaptation to the club and the city is happening quickly. He loves playing beside Leo Messi, Iniesta and Luis Suarez.
"Barcelona really is more than a club, it's a culture, although I don't know how to explain it. You need to understand the true Barcelona DNA to play here," he told Folha de Sao Paulo.
At 29, Paulinho is at the peak of his career. "I always dreamed of this moment, it's something I wanted a lot and luckily ended up happening," he said.
After trouble at Tottenham he hit good form at Guangzhou Evergrande in China. "Scolari understood me and helped me, I'm very grateful for what he did for me in the last couple of years," he said.
